Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. This policy covers cookies and similar browser storage technologies (such as localStorage) used across the Tenant City marketing site and platform.

This marketing website (tenantcity.co.uk) uses analytics cookies only if you choose to accept them via the consent banner. If you decline, no cookies are set.

We also store your cookie preference in localStorage (not a cookie) under the key cookie_consent. This is used solely to remember your choice and is never transmitted to any server.
PostHog also stores additional state (session ID, feature flag cache) in localStorage under keys prefixed ph_*. When session recording is active, anonymous interaction data is captured but all input fields are masked before any recording is stored — only non-sensitive interactions like mouse movement and scrolling are recorded. PostHog data is processed by PostHog Inc. subject to their Privacy Policy.
Google Analytics data is processed by Google LLC subject to their Privacy Policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites using Google's opt-out browser add-on.
Cookies set by the portal
The portal uses a small number of strictly necessary httpOnly cookies. They cannot be read by JavaScript and are used solely to keep you securely logged in.

Analytics cookies set by the portal (logged-in users)
The portal uses Google Analytics 4 and PostHog to understand how the platform is used. These analytics are only active when you are logged in and have not opted out. You can disable analytics at any time from Profile → Privacy inside the portal. PostHog session recording masks all input fields; see the portal's own privacy policy for the authoritative description of portal data handling.

Browser sessionStorage used by the portal
The portal also uses browser sessionStorage (not cookies) for error monitoring. SessionStorage is automatically cleared when you close the browser tab.

Cloudflare Turnstile (registration only)
The portal registration page loads Cloudflare Turnstile, a CAPTCHA service that verifies you are not a bot. Turnstile runs in a sandboxed iframe from Cloudflare's domain and may store data within that iframe's own origin. This storage is scoped to Cloudflare, not accessible to Tenant City, and is used solely for bot detection. It is subject to Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
Cookies we do not use
Tenant City does not use:
- Advertising or retargeting cookies
- Social media cookies or widgets
- Any cookie that tracks you across third-party websites
Managing cookies
You can withdraw your analytics consent at any time by clearing your browser's cookies and localStorage for tenantcity.co.uk — the consent banner will reappear on your next visit.
You can remove portal cookies by logging out. You can also clear all cookies and site data through your browser settings. Note that clearing authentication cookies while logged in will end your session immediately.
Changes to this policy
We will update this policy if we introduce new storage mechanisms. Material changes will be notified via an in-platform notice.
