The Landlord App for UK Property Management

Tenant City is available as a native iOS app — giving you access to your properties, tenancies, compliance status, maintenance requests, and rent records from your phone. The same account, the same data, whether you're at a desktop or on site at a property.

What the app does

The Tenant City iOS app gives landlords and agents full access to the platform from their phone. There is no reduced feature set — the mobile app and the web platform share the same data in real time.

  • Property overview — see all your properties and their current occupancy and compliance status at a glance
  • Tenancy records — view tenant details, tenancy dates, and the full tenancy timeline from your phone
  • Compliance status — check expiry dates for Gas Safety certificates, EPCs, and other compliance requirements per property
  • Maintenance requests — review incoming maintenance requests, update progress, and communicate with tenants
  • Rent tracking — log payments, view arrears, and check payment history per tenancy
  • AI assistant — ask questions about your tenancies and compliance on the go
  • Document access — view stored tenancy agreements, compliance certificates, and other documents

Who it's for

On-the-go landlords

Check compliance status before a viewing, log a maintenance issue on site, or review a tenant's payment history between meetings.

Portfolio landlords

Your whole portfolio in one app. Switch between properties without logging in and out of different tools.

Letting agents

Field agents and property managers can handle maintenance and tenant queries without needing to be at a desk.

Accidental landlords

Manage a single property from your phone without learning a complex system. The app is as simple as it needs to be.

Web platform included

Tenant City is a full web platform as well as an iOS app. Your account works seamlessly across both — anything you do on the web is immediately reflected in the app, and vice versa. There is no separate subscription for mobile access.

The web platform is recommended for tasks like generating Section 8 notices, setting up new tenancies, or reviewing detailed compliance histories — larger-screen tasks where you want the full interface. The app is best for checking in, responding to maintenance, and keeping up with your portfolio while out and about.

Tenant app — also free

Tenants get their own free access to Tenant City — available on iOS and via the web. Tenants can view their tenancy details, raise maintenance requests, acknowledge documents, and message their landlord or agent through the platform.

Both landlord and tenant using the same platform means maintenance requests, acknowledgements, and communications are all logged against the same tenancy record — eliminating the WhatsApp trail problem that causes disputes.

Built for the Renters' Rights Act 2025

The app reflects the same compliance requirements as the web platform — updated for the Renters' Rights Act 2025. Compliance certificate expiry dates, tenancy timeline events, and maintenance records are all accessible from your phone, giving you the information you need wherever you are.
